IBELIV was born from a story of courage, love, and empowerment. It all began in Madagascar, where Tiana, the eldest of eleven children, grew up learning the value of independence and perseverance. When she found herself raising her son Liva on her own, she discovered the power of craftsmanship as a way to ensure autonomy and dignity for women.
Liva, raised with the values of determination and kindness, moved to France to study accounting. But his creative spirit and deep connection to his roots soon led him back home. Together with his mother, he decided to create a project that would merge contemporary design with the traditional craftsmanship of Madagascar.
This is how IBELIV was born — a brand that celebrates the beauty of natural materials and the skill of the hands that shape them. Each piece is handwoven with passion by Malagasy craftswomen, becoming a symbol of rebirth and freedom.
