Jacquemus by Simon Porte represents the poetics of minimalism: "it is nothing but it is everything". At 18 the young stylist, born and raised in the lavender fields in the south of France, moved to Paris. Narrator and costume designer, the designer tells a story through clothes. Her fashion, daughter of the nineties, is a mix of authenticity, pop authenticity and sensuality. Jacquemus is made up of pastel colors, a minimal but sophisticated character of grunge matrix, underground with ultra-design cuts with a classic style, a reworking of simple French aesthetic concepts such as shirtdresses, stripes and blazers.
