Born in Antwerp in 1958 into a family of tailors, Dries Van Noten grew up surrounded by fabrics, lines, and artisanal gestures. At just 18, he enrolled in the fashion design program at the Royal Academy of Antwerp and, after graduating, worked as a creative consultant before launching his first menswear collection in 1986.
Since then, Dries Van Noten has consistently presented womenswear and menswear collections for both Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter, staying true to his personal and refined vision of fashion — made of contrasts, prints, colors, and unexpected layers.
In 2004 he celebrated his fiftieth show and in 2017 his one hundredth, establishing himself as one of the most authoritative and independent voices in contemporary fashion, blending art, craftsmanship, and a cultured, international approach.
