Hunza G has its origins in 1984, when it was founded as Hunza by Peter Meadows, who created the brand known for its unique stretch "crinkle" weave and high-waisted designs. In the '90s, Hunza rose to fame when Julia Roberts wore the iconic blue and white cut-out mini dress in the film Pretty Woman, made from signature Original Crinkle™ fabric.
In 2015, the brand was relaunched as Hunza G by Georgiana Huddart, who became creative director after developing a passion for fabrics in her twenties. Her vision for Hunza G was to make women feel extraordinary in swimsuits, a time when they often feel most vulnerable.
