Simon Porte's Jacquemus fits perfectly within the minimalist poetics: “it is nothing but everything”. Simon born and raised in the lavender fields in the south of France and, the age of 18, he moved to Paris where he standed out thanks to his ability to stage real stories through clothes. Explicitly declaring the 90's matrix, his fashion is a mix of genuineness, pop authenticity and sensuality. Jacquemus palette is made up of pastel colors, while the sophisticated minimalism recalls the grunge and underground attitude. Simon carries out a French styling cues ultra-personal reworking: chemisier, stripes and blazers become constitutive phrases of a new language that never stop to surprise.
