Burberry is the quintessential British fashion house. Founded in 1856 by the entrepreneur Thomas Burberry, in 1888 the company was the first to market gabardine, a breathable and waterproof fabric with revolutionary resistance against the elements. Famous for its unmistakable style and forerunner in technology application in the world of fashion. In 1912 Maison gave life in 1912 to the predecessor of today's trench coat, the "Tielocken". Since 2018 the brand is directed by the histrionic Riccardo Tisci, Christopher Bailey heir, who has been able to renew the Burberry codes while remaining firmly anchored to the tradition.
