In 1925 Edoardo and Adele Fendi founded their brand in Rome. Fendi immmediately established itself as a symbol of authenticity, craftsmanship and elegance. Their first boutique was located in Plebiscito street and offered leather goods and furs. It soon became an international fashion main player, representing Made in Italy allover the world. In 1992 Karl Lagerfeld joined Silvia Venturini, current Creative Director to the creative lead of the fashion house. Today the brand has established its headquarters in Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana (Rome) and goes on to dominate the fashion-system thanks to iconic garments and accessories such as Kan I, Mon Trésor, Pekaboo.
