Moncler was founded in 1952 at the hands of René Raimillon and Andrè Vincent. The name, actually an abbreviation used by patrons to indicate Monstier-De-Clermont, a small mountain village near Grenoble, was already a statement of Intent: to be the undisputed leader in the duvets' creation. So it was that, to reach the top, Moncler introduced in the Eighties a painted with shaped silhouette model that immediately became a cult beyond fashion and time. The climb to success has never stopped and today, in addition to the emblematic down jackets, the brand offers a wide selection of jackets and coats, knitwear, bags and shoes, composing a complete proposal for high altitude enthusiasts and not only.
