The first Castañer workshop was founded in 1927 with the aim of transforming a popular origin shoe into a sophisticated, intimately linked to design and fashion product. The Yves Saint Laurent meeting, with whom the company created the first wedge espadrilles in the 70s, wrote an unforgettable page in the history of fashion. Today, after 90 years, the brand focus has remained unchanged: tradition, craftsmanship and natural materials.
