Lidfort was founded in 1945, when Lido Fortuna turned the garage of his home in Montegranaro, in the Marche region of Italy, into a small shoemaking workshop, putting into practice the teachings of his father. Driven by passion and creativity, Lido created the LIDFORT brand—an acronym of his name—which soon gained recognition not only in central Italy but also in the north and in the capital. To meet growing demand, Lido passed on his craft secrets to trusted collaborators, becoming a true master of style and life.
In the 1970s, his sons Vincenzo and Onelio officially joined the company, bringing new energy while preserving the artisanal techniques taught by their father.
