In 1969, Yvette and René Derhy founded their business, initially focused on importing Indian fabrics. After an order was canceled, they decided to transform it into a fashion house. Their initial offering of "Kurtas," vibrant in color and inspired by the '70s hippie style, brought their nomadic, bohemian, and colorful spirit throughout France. DERHY is also known for its use of natural materials such as cotton, linen, silk chiffon, and viscose, relying predominantly on plant-based fibers for its creations.
